Lies of P Legion Arms

How to read this table

Legion Arms are the attachments for P's mechanical left arm, each with its own way of fighting. Each row is one possible answer of the Legion Arm mode, and the columns are the ones its grid compares.

• Type: Offensive, Defensive or Utility, depending on what the arm is mainly used for.
• Mechanic: how the arm acts: Strike, Shield, Grapple, Shot, Trap or Throw.
• Element: Fire, Electric or Acid, or None when the arm deals no elemental damage.
• Scaling: the arm's dominant grade, among Motivity, Technique and Advance, or Balanced when the top grades are tied.
• ATK: the base attack value stored in the game data.
• DLC: Yes for the 2 arms added by Overture.

Type and Mechanic are categories defined for the puzzle from the way each arm is used, while Element, Scaling and ATK come straight from the game files.

A short list

With only 10 possible answers, every guess counts. The best opening guess is shared by 4 arms, Aegis, Falcon Eyes, Icarus, and Left Arm of Steel, which each leave 1.2 candidates on average, whereas Puppet String leaves 2.0. The Legion Arms guide covers the arms in more detail.
