Lies of P amulets: families, weight, price and icons
Amulets are small, but they shape a build. This guide explains what the game says about them, how Liesofpdle sorts the 46 amulets of Amulet mode, and what their icons give away once you know where to look.

What an amulet is
The game's tutorial describes an amulet as an equipment item that enhances P's abilities. Amulets go into the amulet slots of the Equipment menu, and the P-Organ can add more slots. Nearly every amulet description opens with the same sentence: the amulet is equipped on a puppet, and useful information and memories are imprinted on its symbol to draw out special powers. A loading-screen tip puts it more bluntly:
The short summaries in the game make each effect easy to grasp. The Life Amulet increases max HP, the Carrier’s Amulet increases the Weight Limit, the Hunter’s Amulet increases the Ergo gained from kills, and the Black Cat’s Amulet reduces damage from falling. Some of them come from Alidoro: the treasure hunter trades the Rare Ergo of strong enemies and bosses for special weapons or amulets.
Four families
Liesofpdle sorts the 46 amulets into four families according to their effect. The grouping is the site's own, not an in-game menu:
- Offensive: more damage, against a type of enemy or in a given situation, such as the Carcass Butcher’s, Puppet Destroyer’s or Assassin’s Amulet.
- Defensive: damage reduction and resistances, such as the Iron Wall, Indomitable or Black Cat’s Amulet.
- Special: rarer effects that change the way you fight, often tied to bosses or to Fable. The Ghost Walk Amulet makes Fury Attacks dodgeable, the Dancing One’s Amulet lets you dodge even with low Stamina, and the Extreme Modification Amulet raises weapon ATK with the number of Fable slots.
- Utility: stats, gauges and resources, such as the Life, Leaping, Patience or Hunter’s Amulet.
| Family | Amulets | Of which DLC |
|---|---|---|
| Utility | 20 | 4 |
| Offensive | 11 | 7 |
| Special | 9 | 3 |
| Defensive | 6 | 2 |
Utility is by far the largest family, with 20 amulets, ahead of Offensive (11), Special (9) and Defensive (6). Overture changed that balance: of its 16 amulets, 7 are Offensive, so the expansion brought most of that family.
Three Utility amulets map directly onto the scaling stats described in the weapons guide: the Strength Amulet gives Motivity +4, the Technique Amulet gives Technique +4 and the Transformation Amulet gives Advance +4, while the Red Fox’s Amulet adds 3 to both Motivity and Technique. The names are not always that transparent, which is why the effect is often the better memory hook.
Weight and price
Each amulet comes with two numbers on Liesofpdle: its weight and its price, the selling price recorded in the game files.
- Prices take only three values: 250 for 33 amulets, 800 for 12, and 100 for a single one, the Giant’s Amulet from Overture.
- Weight follows price. Every amulet that sells for 800 weighs at least 7.8, while none of those that sell for 250 goes above 6.5.
- The heaviest is the Ghost Walk Amulet, at 14.9. The lightest, at 1.0, are the Leaping Amulet and the Giant’s Amulet, and half of all amulets weigh 3.8 or less.
The Giant’s Amulet deserves a word: it is among the lightest amulets in the game files, yet its effect changes P's weight to Very Heavy while it is equipped.
Weight matters in the game itself. The tips explain that the heavier your equipped items, the slower your movement and Stamina recovery, and that reaching the weight limit slows you down a lot. A heavy amulet has to be worth its place.
What the icons give away
In Amulet mode, the whole icon is shown, and the icons follow a clear pattern. 34 of the 46 amulets share the same design: an oval silver medallion with a small loop on its right side and a different emblem in the middle. The 12 others break the pattern: crystal growths, tangled dark masses, machines, or disks in other metals and colors. Those 12 are exactly the amulets that sell for 800, and eight of them are filed as boss amulets in the game files.
That gives a simple method:
- Medallion or not? If the icon is not the standard silver medallion, the answer is one of the twelve amulets priced at 800 in the table below. That alone rules out about three quarters of the list.
- Read the emblem. On medallions, the emblem often illustrates the name: a cat for the Black Cat’s Amulet, a roaring lion for the Courage Amulet, a sleeping white bear for the Winter's Sleep Amulet, a raised fist for the Legion Amulet.
- Think in effects. When the emblem is abstract, go family by family in your head. Amulets are easier to recall by what they do (damage against a type of enemy, a stat bonus, a resistance) than by their exact name.
How Amulet mode works
The rules mirror Weapon mode. The site shows the official icon of an amulet, each guess is simply right or wrong, and the search field suggests names without pictures, so you cannot compare thumbnails. Guesses are unlimited, and the names you have already tried disappear from the suggestions, which makes a family-by-family sweep easy to follow. Once you find the answer, its family, weight, price and DLC status appear.
There is one amulet per day, the same for everyone, with a new one at midnight UTC, and Practice mode lets you play extra rounds whenever you like. The weapons guide explains how to read the other icon puzzle of the site.
All 46 amulets
The table lists every amulet of the mode in alphabetical order, with its name in the other language underneath. Family is Liesofpdle's grouping; weight and price come from the game files.
